Very comfortable and easy to 'open'

I am having treatment for breast cancer. The bra was very comfortable post lumpectomy and subsequent use whilst recovering. The eyelets are a bit tricky however I found the velcro worked perfectly initially and then after a couple of times wearing it I got the hang of the eyelets. Fabric is also very soft.

Post op bra, comfy but nightmare to do up

No, I don't recommend this
Very soft and comfortable bras after surgery, BUT the fasteners at the front are so difficult to do up. After surgery this is the last thing I needed stressing how to do it up. A normal hook and eye would be better.

Very comfortable once on. Washes and dries well. Loops very small; I wash and put a knitting needle through the loops whilst drying to stretch them a bit. If you wear glasses for reading you will need them for fastening. Velcro a bit bulky. I would and did buy again.

Nicely cut, soft and comfy post- surgery bra

Super soft, well cut, very comfortable recovery post surgery bra. Bought to wear after recent breast surgery. Love the support it gives, as the sides are quite high cut under the arms. And the front fastening makes it easy to get on and off - takes a little practice, but once you get used to it it's fine. Hadn't been measured for a bra for years so bought my usual size. It was fine post surgery, but also felt a bit tight. So bought another in the next size up (went to 36 from 34) which feels better. (If you can try on and to get your right fit before surgery I would recommend.) But all in all this bra has been ideal for me post surgery. If you like to feel well supported this a good bra to have.

Poor design. The fastening is impossible, I gave up after several tries. A waste of money

Collaboration!
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Who thought that this type of fastening would be a good idea? Old fashioned hooks and eyes no? Also the lower elastic lies exactly along the wound! I have to make gauze pads to ease the pressure. Could an alternative model for mastectomy patients not be created that is longer, maybe waist length? After all these are post-op bras, maybe a little collaboration between designers and patients?

A great comfort after surgery

This was such a comfort after my breast surgery. Supportive yet soft with completely adjustable straps and pockets for prosthetics if you need them. The front opening made everything so much easier - the hooks were a little fiddly but felt secure with the velcro on top. I went up a band and down a cup size after trying several sizes but once it was right I ordered more in different colours. Highly recommended, thank you M&S.

Quite a good support Bea but clothes get stuck on the Velcro fastening & the hooks are very fiddly especially if you are left handed - also underband not at all comfortable

This is a very comfortable bra. Not something I would normally buy, but have just had breast cancer surgery. The only problem I had was the little hooks, I found them very fiddly and would rather have had a zip.

Does not live up to expectations

Bra is bulky and awkward to get on. Hook & Eye fastenings extremely difficult to fasten/unfasten. Velcro very difficult to open - especially when one arm is not functioning as it should post op. It is tight (bought usual size) and I have to keep pulling it down. The straps were adjusted to give maximum support (by nursing staff). I bought this because of reviews but in my experience it does not live up to expectations. On a positive the matetial is quite nice.

This bra really benefited me post shoulder surgery with Velcro fastening at the making it easy to put on. I find it holds with Velcro without having to use the clips. Provides adequate support for larger breasts like mine. With comfortable wide shoulder straps. Excellent product. Would recommend

Disappointing
No, I don't recommend this
The fabric is nice and soft but the velcro at the front is very stiff and hard. I wish the hooks were like normal bra hooks as they would be easier to open / close.
