Can't live without it

During the years I've tried other face creams because I didn't want to spend too much money on such things, but whenever I went off my fav Clinique product my skin got much worse. I just can't live without it. Now, I don't even need to put it on twice a day. Once a day is enough because it works for a longer time.

Last year's M&S Beauty Advent contained a small pot of Clinique Moisture Surge moisturiser which I have used daily. I liked it so much that whilst M&S was offering 20% off beauty products I purchased the 'Jumbo' sized Clinique Moisture Surge 100H. I have mature normal skin that shows fine dehydration lines on my cheeks when I smile. I have been using Moisture Surge 100H for the last couple of weeks and the general tone and hydration of my skin has noticeably improved, a small patch or redness on one of my cheeks has also nearly disappeared. It contains hyaluronic acid and aloe bioferment and these are clearly having a positive effect on my skin. I'm not sure how suitable it would be for anyone with very dry skin but I understand that you can layer Moisture Surge underneath a product that is suitable for dry skin conditions. I would recommend this moisturiser to anyone who has dehydrated skin.

Skin Reaction
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
I’d heard and read great reviews about this moisturiser. Also read reviews about how it had negatively affected the skin of others. Never thought that I would have any problems but … Dry patches around my nose didn’t clear. Skin felt dry when applying make up. I had lots of little red spots appear on my face. On re-reading reviews it appears others have had that reaction too. Very disappointed considering the amount it cost!

I live this moisturiser, light but leaves my dry skin feeling supplements. No spf, so you will have to use one aswell, but I prefer that.

Love this moisturiser as I don’t like heavy or greasy creams. The gel absorbs nicely and doesn’t feel heavy. You can also wear it overnight as a facemask.
