Rather too baggy. The “elestication’ in the waist is almost non- existent so more was needed. They may be drawstring but they should be able to stay up by themselves.

I bought two pairs of these trousers for my husband, a navy and grey. We live in Greece and summer evenings can be very warm. These are very lightweight therefore ideal. I bought medium and they fit well. He hasn't worn them yet but have no reason to suspect they won't wash well.
