Soft, comfortable material and still flattering. I’m 5’5” and a pear shaped 16 - the 14 regular in indigo are a perfect fit. HOWEVER, I ordered 4 pairs in different lengths & colours and every one was a different fit. Size 14 in indigo was generous, but I couldn’t even fasten the identical size in darker blue. I measured a 2 inch difference around the waist and 1 inch in length. If I’d ordered only one colour I would probably have decided they weren’t the right jeans for me - so I suggest trying a few different pairs.

These are excellent jeans easy to dress up or down. A perfect fit for me size 16 regular best fitting M & S jeans I have had for quite some time. The fabric is not too heavy and the wide legs hangs perfectly, would love them in white for winter sunshine holiday

The jeans are just as described. The sizing wasn't a good fit. I ordered size 12 and they were far too big. I have had to pull them in with a belt to enable them to be worn. I didn't request smaller size as another reviewer mentioned that she had and they were too small.

Gorgeous jeans. I am 5ft10 and 62kg and got a size 10 Long and these are a perfect fit. Nice high waist and comfortable fit around the waist and hips. Very flattering.

I’ve been putting off buying wide leg jeans as I thought I was too old (I’m seventy two) and they ‘weren’t me’, then I saw these online and thought I’d give them a go. I love them! They are beautifully made, the fabric isn’t heavy and the front permanent ‘crease’ makes them look so smart. They are easy to wear. I wore them to a school reunion last week and felt great. Pricey, but well worth the money.
