I love this dress. It's floaty and is suitable for any occasion or just for wearing on a warm sunny evening. Being 5'8" tall the dress is a perfect length even though I was only able to buy the regular length. I did find the sleeves very long, but that isn't a problem. Excellent value for money as I bought it in the sale. I hope that M&S continue to stock this longer "regular" length as I don't want to wear dresses down to the ground or above the knee. This length looks elegant.

Pretty material but see through. I assume it should have had an underslip as label says 2 parts but sadly not included in my delivery. Unable to give a good review as it’s now sold out in my size so returned

Bought on a whim with some similar looking shoes. It's a bit old fashioned and mumsy around the collar so I turned the dress around and pulled the zip down to make a v-neck. Looks lovely and the material is gorgeous, 1970s chic now rather than 1870s!

A friend who is a personal shopper recommended this dress so I ordered it. Beautiful dress, very pretty. Only thing is the zip at the back sticking out that I’m not sure about but need to see if it can be fixed somehow.

Brought at the weekend and wore yesterday. The dress ticked all my boxes.... well done M&S!!! So many compliments from strangers stopping me to say how beautiful this dress is. True to size and prefect if like me you’re a little heavier on top. Will be wearing again and again!!!

Fell in love with the dress material, and initial look of the design. The skirt has a lovely swing - BUT the cut of the bodice lets the dress down, the heavy zip bulges out, the neck felt tight while the sleeves felt massive - i seriously considered keeping this dress just for the material - to dismantle, alter and resew, but as i might damage the fine material, sadly will return it ( I hope M&S source other items - a skirt ? in this fabric )

I love this dress! I saw it on a manequin and couldn’t get it out of my head. When I tried it on a couple of M&S staff came over to admire it saying they’d wondered what it looked like on. (Great sales tactic). My friend also loved it on but said she wouldn’t have looked twice on the hanger. Material so soft and flows beautifully, it feels great on. Goes great with boots or shoes and even with jeans!

A beautiful light and floaty fabric- no polyester which makes a change and a very summery print. I was disappointed with 2 things- the length, at 5ft 7 it was neither midi nor maxi. The odd length made it look frumpy and He Who Likes To Shop With Me said I looked like an extra from Little House on the Prairie! The dress was a good fit across the bust and waist but there is a design fault with the zip. The zip stops at the waist band so the material bulges out and doesn’t lie flat. It’s a shame as I probably would have kept it (for wearing on the ranch!).

Just fell in love with this feminine floaty dress and the pretty, lightweight viscose material at first sight ....so just had to take it home.....BUT the zip is disproportionately heavy for the dress fabric and makes a huge bulge at the back as it curls over when on the body...like an unwanted lower hump!!! Makes me wonder MnS if anyone actually tries out the mechanical practicalities??? I am really disappointed as it is otherwise a very beautiful dress and hence the four star rating.....considering reluctantly returning it as I am not sure I can get it resolved....shame, it would have been a perfect weight for summer and it looks far more expensive than it is.
