Not Sculptured Enough

No, I don't recommend this
If you’re looking for a sculptured look this garment is not for you. It does have some support but barely makes a difference. Tge good thing is it stays in place without sliding up.

Comfortable to wear

Ordered two sizes to compare and glad I did as the smaller of the two fits very comfortably. Only issue is when seated for a long period the vest tends to roll up.

Perfect cami shaper

Love these. I’ve been looking for a cami style shaper garment, just to smooth the silhouette. Didn’t want a body with the fastenings etc. Just a longer cami/vest style. This is absolutely perfect. Love it. It’s not restrictive, very comfortable to wear. I have read previous reviews stating that it comes up small, but I found it a perfect size, (bought the large & am size 16) didn’t ride up. It doesn’t make you a smaller size & didn’t expect it to. But it really does a great job of smoothing the silhouette with gentle compression around the tummy area.

Does the job, great support & comfortable without feeling too tight, definitely size up as very small sizes. My usual size is 12/14 & I ordered large which fits great.

I’ve lost a lot of weight so was looking for something firm to give me a bit of shape. This didn’t disappoint. Definitely buying another.

I love this new range, especially the vest top. Fits perfectly with my regular size, material is lovely and keeps cool. I’m so happy with my purchase that I’ve been back to buy more from the range. Good prices too.

I am so glad M&S have started doing shapewear vests again, they are everything I have been looking for. Great value for money and wear so well. Love them.

Marvellous, it didn't ride up, comfortable when on. Hid all my bumps.

Pull it on after stepping into it! It works!

Step into it. I am a curvy 18 5 foot 7 and brought the extra large. It makes my large tummy smoother. It doesn’t get rid of it but you can’t expect miracles! The material is cooling, so good in hotter weather.

Not great if you wear high waisted underwear

Very hard to get on but definitely sucks you in! I could probably see past the digging in around the arms slightly, it definitely doesn't roll up or down. The only thing is, because it pulls in so much it pulls in high waisted underwear so I ended up with a permanent wedgie so unfortunately returned. Probably best for smaller sized people/undies.

Bought to cover my postnatal belly

Great quality, however the fit didn't work for me. Very tight which resulted in it rolling up when it reached my hip area. Unfortunately I will be exchanging for a larger size, but I'm not convinced the concept is ever going to work without it pinging back up at the widest part of body.

I am a bog standard M & S size 12 and according to the size guide, sizes12 and 14 are medium, so I ordered a medium. It was far too tight - in fact I didn’t think I was going to be able to take if off on my own. So, I sent it back and ordered a large, which fits as it should. It’s firm control, but I have worn it twice for a whole day and it did not make me sweat or make me feel uncomfortable. I expected it to ride up a bit, but it did not. Overall, I’m very pleased with it and I’m sure it’s good value for money compared to other manufacturers of similar products.

Way too small fitting
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
I ordered a large in this which says is a 16-18 and I’m usually a size 14 but it’s way too small. I did get it on and thought perhaps it would give on wearing but that was a mistake. Very uncomfortable and cut in underarms. I had ordered in both colours but have returned the other

OK for standard height and small bust

This garment certainly provides compression. However the shoulder straps are too stretchy to provide support for a larger cup size. Moreover, as it's styled for a standard 5ft 6 height, for someone 3 inches shorter (me) the shaped and compressed waistband sits at an awkward point on the abdomen, and the lower hem band is across your bum rather than your hips. Worst of all, the garment rolls up at the front every time you bend forward. So a fine compression vest for skinny tall women who don't bend in the middle. But being tall and skinny, why would they need a compression vest?
