This 2.5 tog duvet is just the ticket for hot summer nights. It's filled with soft duck feather and down for lightweight warmth, breathability and a luxurious, lofty feel. A pure cotton outer and popper snaps to hold it in place inside our duvet covers to complete the piece.
The tog rating refers to the effectiveness of the duvet to retain heat – the higher the tog, the warmer you will be when you're snuggled beneath it. A 2.5 Tog duvet is perfect for the summer months when the weather is at it's hottest.

Perfect Summer weight , however poppers are unnecessary, who has poppers on their Duvet Covers ? So I’ve cut them off ! I thought it was part of an “All Seasons “ Duvet when it arrived.

I was so pleased to find a duck and down 2.5tog duvet, I find the synthetic filled 2.5tog duvets are far too hot for the summer months. This duvet is just perfect for the hot summer nights, it keeps me cool whilst being 'cosy', and it also holds it's shape well. It has poppers to attach to a looped interior of a duvet cover, but none of my Marks and Spencer duvet covers have internal loops!! The one drawback to this duvet is that it's far too big for all my double sized duvet covers by 4-5inches, I even checked that I hadn't been sent a king size duvet in error. I would have given this duvet 5 stars, but the oversizing of the duvet is annoying, I have to carefully tuck in the excess at the side and bottom of duvet covers.

Seems to be a bit more feather content compared with a similar 2.5 tog duvet I purchased from M&S about 18 months ago. A little more noisy as a result but just the job for a cooler sleep compared with the 4.5 tog feather and down it is replacing for the summer months.

I wanted a lighter duvet for the summer because our 4 tog one was too hot. This is a 2 tog and ideal because I still use the duvet cover but it is a much lighter weight and very comfortable. I am allergic to man made fibres so the feather and down with a 100% cotton cover is fine for me.

Was too hot with 4.5 tog and decided to try this lighter one. It’s a really nice duvet. Just right. I prefer feather and down to man made fillings. For me it’s much more comfortable.

Great quality. You get used to the slight "crackling " noise if you move in your sleep. But the upside is the duvet wraps around you rather than just "tenting" over you leaving gaps for cold air.
