Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Yes, I recommend this
I'm glad I read the review of this item, so that I was aware this was more of a sewing project than a knitting one. I found sewing the cow on top of the knitting tricky, but eventually worked out that if I sewed through one hole at a time and made sure to untwist the wool as I pulled it through, I got a finish I was happy with. I'm still sewing though as it's a slow process for me to get that nice finish I want. A lovely item for patient people! (Helpfully the kit comes with the knitting needles)

Embroidered cow cushion

No, I don't recommend this
I was disappointed to find the cushion is knitted as a plain cream rectangle and the cow face is embroidered on. I am a knitter not an embroiderer and it didn’t say this in the description. Despite stitching fairly loosely the cream can still be seen in lots of places underneath the darker stitches. The wool is very soft and fluffy but so loosely spun it splits very easily.
