Good Idea but strange fit

No, I don't recommend this
I like utility jackets with these types of large pockets for the convenience of being able to carry a lot of items on a long walk. Prefer though where you can put your hands in at the side aswell. However, would not recommend as the fit is strange. The arms are not long enough most notably if you stretch. The whole jacket seemed big in the body but that may have just been that it was too big for me.

Not a shocker, this is a jacket, and a really nice one. Sizing is an issue as usual with MnS coats, so bought a size up. This reduced price is amazing, and brings it to the price of cheaper stores. The full price I think was expensive for a coat without stormwear. This is a late spring, early autumn jacket. Nice warm day but a breeze. Now knowing this great country of ours, rain appears out of nowhere! If this had stormwear, you'd know you were safe! Without it at this full price, is a bummer, but it's still a great jacket. Easy to recommend, but go up a size if you want a casual fit, or jumper underneath. If yournstore still has one left, get it. You'll wear it for years and years

Great fit

I usually found jackets to be to long in the sleeve and also the length, I am 5' 8" and mostly get a medium fit to find this jacket a perfect fit was an excellent result. Not only was the fit perfect but the jacket has a great quality feel, i would say it has a more fitted feel than most medium / regular M&S products.

Bad sleeves

Mine is packed ready for return. It's a lovely jacket with all the right pockets, but the way the sleeves are attached is weird. As long as you keep your arms down it fits great, but the under arm attachment allows for no give and so as you begin to raise your arms so does the whole jacket raise. Very impracticle.

Comfortable Jacket at a Great Price

I bought this last week for myself and have worn it several times. It feels really comfortable and fits well. It’s got plenty of pockets which is really useful. It’s great for layering and so can be worn all year round. I’m a member of M&S Sparks and at the time I bought it there was a 20% discount but it’s well worth the full price. I would certainly recommend it.

Unusual idea of "Khaki"

Keen to find a relaxed everyday jacket for the intermediate seasons but this was a little heavy and not generously cut and worst of all was just dull grey and not the "army" or my idea of Khaki. Had to be returned with no fuss from local food store.

Looks made for spring, not autumn

Would be a decent jacket for the spring rather than autumn as it is unlined. I would also prefer an inside pocket. It also felt very small ( Size L for a 42 inch chest) and not quite long enough

Handy summer jacket

There are very few jackets like this on the market. I have a stylish khaki summer jacket and for several years have been looking for a similar blue/grey jacket. This is the nearest I have been able to find though it is distinctly lacking the same stylishness. The collar in particular is very clunky and there is no inside pocket for a wallet or phone. It is decent quality though and the drawstring waist gives it a good feel and look if you need a slimmer fit.

I bought this khaki jacket for my husband who was really pleased with it. Other reviews had mentioned that the size came up a bit small so I ordered the next size up and it fitted perfectly. The jacket is stylish and light; perfect for autumn, spring and chilly summer evenings. The quality was really good too. Would definitely recommend.

My husband was watching a TV programme the other night. One of the characters was wearing a casual jacket. My husband commented that he would like a jacket like the character was wearing - with the Coronavirus, going shopping is obviously difficult. I decided to look at M&S menswear online, never expecting to find anything to match what my husband had seen on the TV. Surprise!! Surprise!! A very similar one was subsequently ordered, delivered and my husband is delighted.

Jacket for my son

I bought this jacket for my son who is quite pleased with it. However it could be improved by an inside pocket big enough for one of the larger mobile phones, or make one of the breast pockets larger.

This is a great jacket for summer / warm wear. I ordered 3XL and this is a good fit. Wearing a cardigan under makes it a bit tight but otherwise it is good. Plenty of pockets and a pleasing colour.

Inconsistent Sizing.

This 'jacket' appears well made and probably durable, but I will know better after it has had a wash or two. I often buy M&S clothes at 3XL, or for looser fit, 4XL. This item is sold as a jacket - i.e. being capable of having a shirt or similar worn underneath it. My 4XL jacket it totally incapable of that and is actually a less generous fit than M&S 4XL polo shirts. I can use it as a fairly snug fitting over-shirt, but nothing more. Being incapable of being used as a proper jacket, I feel it is significantly over-priced.

Whereas this Jacket lived up to M&S quality expectation the overall fitting is geared more toward the current slim fit.

A lovely light jacket at a good price. I bought it because I already had an identical jacket in Khaki and had been keeping my eyes open for a blue one. I've had the Khaki one for nearly a year now. It has proven to be comfortable and hard wearing.
