Whilst I haven’t used these yet, I’d already purchased similar for a different bed so I knew what I was getting. Thicker than my existing mattress protectors but I know they will fit the mattress well. Roll on winter!

The protector fits well and is of good quality. I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Nice quality generally. However, contrary to some reviews, the elastic is not adjustable, it is stitched into place and encased in a channel. The elastic is also very baggy and loose so unless you have a huge mattress, you'll get very frustrated at this protector. . It's very unsightly and creates lots of excess material that make your sheets look and feel poor. For reference, we have a 28cm deep high quality Hypnos mattress. Based on the product description we understood that the elasticated sides meant it would fit mattresses UPTO 30cm, not that your mattress had to be 30cm! Avoid unless you have a 30cm mattress. We'll be buying another one from elsewhere and this one will just be used as a backup. Sadly we can't return it as we washed it thinking it would shrink slightly, but it didn't!

As described.Good quality, lovely soft cotton. and good price. Downside is very deep edging to fit normal size double bed mattress and has to be tucked tightly to stop ruffling up under bottom sheet which is difficultcto stop happening.

Mixed reviews on the fit but I wanted the pure cotton (I know not quite 100 percent which is disappointing) so took a chance. It would seem this is made slightly oversize to allow for natural shrinkage - I’m sure I read that somewhere. I washed mine on 40 easy care before use. I would want to wash it at 40 after use. It just fits. Just. The top fits my king size mattress but the skirt barely tucks under (mine is the standard) and I have not got a deep mattress at 26cm(Emma). The elastic is baggy so that doesn’t help. It was difficult to get a little of the skirt tucked in all the way around which is a faff. I am disappointed. Yet other reviews say it is too big. It would seem the degree of shrinkage differs? Do I now have to buy another deep fitted one or will I have problems with that…..

Washed before using has I always do with everything I buy that’s New didn’t fit the mattress very disappointed not impressed?

Advertised as 100% cotton above - "Filling - 100% cotton". It is not. Admittedly won't make a huge difference but more annoyed by the fact you can only find out it's not 100% after opening the packet (on the laundry label). At which point, this type of item cannot returned. Been refused a return in store and by online customer services

Perfect and very happy with purchase. I have yet to wash this but do not foresee any issues.

Excellent value, good fit, washes well with no shrinkage. Good fabric and keeps its colour.

An excellent product from M&S, the top is padded so it can feel a bit warm currently, but I'm sure it will be fine in cooler times. There is enough fabric in the skirt, so you won't have to force the side material underneath your mattress.
