Brushed Cotton Striped Bedding Set

I was initially put off purchasing this bedding set due to some negative reviews. But I took the chance and I do not regret doing so. Out of the bag it did seem barely brushed cotton; however after washing (and removing the fabric dressing) it has fluffed up considerably. It irons like a dream too! Happy customer.

It is supposed to be pink, but it is Avery pale salmon colour and nothing like the pink sheetsvwevorderedw

I bought this set after judging that the material would be like brushed cotton, but it was quite thin and not at all cosy. The colour was quite unlike the photograph, not pink but off white with a not very attractive pattern. I have returned it.

I bought two sets and was a little disappointed with this one. It is nowhere as soft as the other set I bought. I’ve washed it a couple of times and it is beginning to soften a bit more. Hopefully it just needs more washing.

I didn’t even get the duvet cover out of the packet as could see the duvet was just grey. In the picture there is a strong peach colour running through it which I thought was really pretty but in real life the peach is so faint you can’t see it

Read the reviews before buying and shopped around for flanellette bedding and this was by far the best. It did need ironing before putting on bed and while ironing it I did think it looked quite dull more dark grey than cream and peach especially the pillow cases, but when put on bed it looks just like the photo, but the real reason I bought this is because my hubby feels the cold due to illness and it really is warm and cosy and feels lovely against the skin . I will say I ordered the king size as have king size duvet and it is bigger than the duvet so took a little adjusting to get looking straight on bed.
