The items are very nice, but one has marks on it as though slightly singed with an iron, and instead of being folded both were just screwed up and shoved in a bag so that they arrived like pieces of creased rag rather than new tops. Not what I expect from M&S.

I wasn’t sure how well it would fit as reviews suggested it was too small on some people but I find a small in M&S tops and shirts usually fit me well and this was no exception

The xl size is narrow fitting and short in length, I went for a size up I am 42-44in chest but even the sze up is too small

I enjoy the quality of some of M&S clothes however apart from the skinny fit chinos, every time I buy something I end up taking it back. I’m this case these Henley’s where exactly the style I wanted when they arrived I was impressed with the quality of the material however again with M & S I was appalled with the shape of the top. It seems all their tops are designed to fit Mr Strong of the Mr.Men. I don’t consider myself particularly uniquely shaped but this top basically is cut to fit a a square shape person, loose around the shoulders short In the arms and torso and wide around the torso. I bought a large and just couldn’t understand the cut. And to be honest it is the same with all their tops, from polos to t shirts, maybe they need to create a slim fit for the tops or something but again I was left incredibly annoyed.

Initially a lovely fit, however, it doesn't wash very well. The colour is retained brilliantly after a wash, but the shape and fit isn't great despite following the instructions (gentle wash/dry flat etc.) If it wasn't for that, this would be a great purchase as it is a lovely weight of material. Unless you're willing to hand wash it, I wouldn't bother.

I like the item very much and have bought 3. For the price, I think it's brilliant. Only one criticism. Even though I wash this carefully, it seems to have shrunk a lot. I'd probably still buy another. You need to size up. I'm XL but need a 2XL in this item.

It arrived crumpled looking like a dish rag & not packaged properly- no m&s wrapping & slung into an m&co bag. Not the standard I’m used to with m&s. It was to be a gift for my brother- in- law.
