Handy case

This is a very handy carry on suitcase with good space. The only thing I would change are the back straps as I can’t see many people using them and they waste space.

Good price for a useful carry on case. I have a very similar looking 2 wheel carry on case from another high street retailer, but the Banff has the advantage of hideaway rucksack straps. These are great if, like me, you prefer on occasion to sling your case over your shoulders.

Used for both carry on and checked in luggage. Thoughtful design and good capacity. Wheels nice and smooth too. Only used the backpack feature once but worked well.

Well made, very adaptable, hand luggage but heavy.

No, I don't recommend this
Looks great and well made but three considerable compromises. It's expensive. It's nearly 2 kg in weight so detracts from its advantage. The only front pocket is far too narrow for the kinds of things to which you need ready access, like a tablet and travel documents. Good but limited value.

Baffling on arrival

Haven't used it yet but I think it will be fine for my next trip. I usually carry hand luggage as a backpack but this will be much easier. Only snag is, it arrives locked, or seemingly locked. You cannot lift the small tabs on top. So I had to find a YouTube video which demonstrated how to open it. You have to set the combination to 000 and then pull sideways on the knob on the top. Anyway the video explains it. There is a QR code on the label which links to the manufacturer's instructions too but I didn't find those very clear. I think it is good how it has two separate compartments inside and the outside one too for easy access to documents.
