Husband says they are okay but would much prefer a cotton covered waistband like they used to be. The plain elastic isn't anywhere nearly as comfortable. Why is all underwear going that way even women's.

M & S appear to call almost all men's Summer underwear "Cool and Fresh", because that is what people want, but I find it rarely is. Except in Winter. This applies to these Trunks. They are made of moderately thick cotton, much thicker than Boxers, so are comparatively warm and comfortable. The ecological cost of manufacture is not stated and I doubt they are organic. I had forgotten how good a new pair of underpants can be.
