I have worn these trunks for many years and they are very comfortable but have found the sizing has got smaller. Over many years I have always bought Large and they have always been perfect. The last pack were way too small, so small I could not wear them. I then ordered XL and they fit the same as the large always used to. So quality the same as always but I would say to go up a size

I ordered the large size as usual, but the trunks felt tight when they arrived. I compared them with other large pairs I had bought in store, and the online ones were noticeably smaller when laid on top of the store-bought pairs, even though both were labelled large. This is disappointing, as M&S sizing is usually reliable. I suspect this may be due to either cost-saving changes in sizing or inconsistent manufacturing. I assume that I cannot return the online order as I have tried them on.

I have purchased several packs of these trunks in the past and found that 2XL was an excellent fit for me. I ordered two more packs at the of May 2026, but discovered that they felt tight. It seems that the 2XL size is now a little smaller and is no longer comfortable for me.

Fits well and are comfy. These are a little shorter than similar trunks bought a while back and they tend to ride up a bit. Other wise pleased!

I have worn autograph underpants for more than 20 years. In fact that last ten pairs I bought have lasted 16 years after daily washing, which is remarkable. The new ones are tighter and prone to riding up even after wearing them for a few minutes. I think the leg is too short. I bought a set of three about 10 years ago and they are better than the current ones. I was somewhat disappointed really. Other than the riding up issue, they are comfortable.
