These cotton socks are perfect for keeping hot feet cool. I did not give them a 5* because they do have a tendency after time to form holes on the ankle where the heel turns. Some people say they don't last long, it is true they don't last as well as those which are mixed with polyester or other man made fabric. However, that is the price you pay for something which is made of a natural breathable yarn.

As far a I can see these are the only plain 100% cotton socks that M&S still sell. These socks don't have stretch in them which is exactly why I like them. I've been using them for years and in my experience they don't shrink or get bigger. If M&S stop selling these I will shop elsewhere as I don't like socks with plastic in them.

Sized for size 12+ feet (mine are 10.5, and the heel is on my ankle when pulled up properly). They then become baggier throughout the day. The modal / polyamide blend makes my feet sweat. Genuinely nothing positive to say about these.

These feel like they’ve been made incorrectly, very odd fit. Tight around the heel but loose and baggy everywhere else, falling down every 2 seconds.
