My husband can not seem to get a ‘Comfy’ sock! But these are like the golden ticket for him, tick all the boxes. They don’t dig in, kind. On his feet and very warm .

Bought for elderly relative specifically for softer grip at the top which works well , although he would prefer them thicker and made of wool for extra warm feeling

Lovely but not thermal
These are well fitting socks with a very pleasant feel to them and certainly do not leave any mark on the skin. However by no means can they be described as "light thermal". I could perceive no difference to ordinary socks. Since I started using thermal socks last year in the winter (not M and S socks) my annual chilblains disappeared. But after 2 days of using these socks - and it wasnt that cold - my chilblains came back.

The shop layout at the Holmbush store is now terrible. Mens Socks are in 3 different places but always the same limited range. The online range is not displayed in store despite having adequate space.

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT THESE SOCKS ARE PERFECT FOR MY SON WHO SUFFERS FROM SWOLLEN ANKLES DUE TO THE ELASTIC IN MENS SOCKS BUT THESE ARE ALMOST ELASTIC FREE AND ARE PERFECT FOR HIM I BUY THESE FOR HIM ALL THE TIME.

I haven’t got thin legs but just couldn’t keep these socks pulled up for very long. Admittedly the socks are described as ‘light thermal’ but for me there didn’t appear to be any thermal effect at all.
