Useful bra pockets

Great item, easy to sew in to normal bras, keeps prostheses in place. Lets me buy nicer bras as the choice of post surgery bras is dreadful. Also much more expensive.

Great buy!

I ordered a pack of 2 left side post surgery pockets in white. Lovely cotton material in size 38B . I actually sewed the pocket into the bra and put the pad in. Very comfortable to wear and will be easy to wash by hand! Now I need one more pocket to put in my third new bra! Delighted with my purchase.

This product is useful as I can choose bras from different ranges and not post surgery bras.

A must have purchase for post mastectomy ladies

These are a great asset to us ladies who have to wear prosthetics; my only criticism is that they need to be made in larger sizes, as prosthetics come in various sizes to suit each individual. Other than that they are great to have.

No, I don't recommend this
Too much marerisl around the bottom seam - bulky. Fastening is tiny & difficult to fasten When hooked around a broad bra strap, the rough end of the fastening (tried various ways) is against skin & is rough/irritating. It may work better with a thinner strapped bra, but most unwired, full support bras have broad straps. Hoping that one day a manufacturer/retailer listens/consults/tests with customers who actually need something like this.

A good idea in theory.

I bought these pockets to enable me to wear an ordinary bra, in fact the one I used to wear before having had a mastectomy. They do the job but are far from perfect. I found they don't cover my prosthesis properly and I hate the feel of it against my skin. They are not as good as a sewn in pocket but better than nothing. M&S no longer do the total support bra in 'post surgery' form, so I thought I would give these pockets a try. I'm not convinced but beggars can't be choosers.

Needs to be a better design

Ordered these with hope of finding something to fix my problem at last . Sadly its not quite the right shape for prosthesis. Med was too small. Large wss too big with excess material . M& s need to mske in proper bra sizes.

My local Marks and Spencer has a huge and varied stock of bras and no mastectomy bras at all! They have lots of these dingily dangly things! Adding to an ordinary bra is cumbersome and a faff. A better selection of mastectomy bras would be more preferable.

Difficult to judge size online.

Difficult to judge size online. I needed ‘pockets’ to put my partial ( but large) breast form in to pop inside my bra These are for a whole replacement breast form . Probably only needed a much smaller size. I’m going to try to adapt them but they will probably end up in the bin

Good pockets for breast prosthesis.

Was so pleased to find these pockets on sale, as they are impossible to buy these days. My breast form is a size 9 asymmetrical. The size large fits Ok. My only criticism is the gap to insert the prosthesis is a bit large.. so the prosthesis touches my skin and feels hot. I will cut some of the excess ( not sure why its there) and sew to cover the gap. They wash well and am pleased with them

These work fine but are very fiddly to get the prosthesis in and then difficult to fasten.

Such a good idea for when I can wear my normal bras

Good product, misleading sizing.
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Excellent product, works well, but your sizing guide is inaccurate and needs to be amended. I ordered large, based on my 32F bra size, but found the item too big. As it seemed to be non-returnable, I then ordered medium, which was fine. I will use the larger ones but obviously they are not as smooth as they should be.

Great idea but didn’t work

The idea is great but I thought they’d have more than just a loop around the strap to keep them in place, they just rode up and at one point was poking out the neckline of my top. I’m sure if I alter them to attach at the lower front they’ll work but would be better if they came with this.

Won't be buying any more😕

Disappointing. It's easier shooting the lining of a bra and slipping the prosthetic in there, as these pockets need seeing in to make them stable.

They do the job and mean I can wear many of the bras I already have, which are prettier than most mastectomy bras. A specialist bra does work better but compromises can be made to get the best from both with the help of the pockets.

Nice idea but the design needs some refinement as the pockets are far too big for a standard size bra. Mine went straight in the bin as I had to open the packaging and couldn’t return them.
