It seems that the skirts online and some instore have changed. They used to have some elastic waistband at the back that was scrutched in, which could also bit altered by a further button elastic inside. Now they dont have the scrunched waistband at all. So dont fit in the same way, and going up a size doesnt work out as they become too long.

Bought a size up but Could have gone for actual size as the skirt has adjustable elastic bands inside. But daughter finds it comfortable and very good length just above the knee.

Although this skirt is good value the sizing is way off, my Granddaughter is 14 coming up 15 and we ended up buying age 9-10 and 11-12. The age 9-10 is a perfect fit and we also kept 11-12

Comes up big, but a good fit. Pleats are great, only need a quick iron. Quite disappointed with the material after being washed and the washing instructions are always followed.
