I have bought 400 thread count before and it was and still is, super smooth and soft. These are thick and a bit rough even after washing. Disappointed.

This bedding is lovely. It’s soft and comfortable to the touch and, as an added bonus, it doesn’t need to be ironed if you tumble dry it. Definitely worth paying a little bit more for the quality.

Sadly these pillowcases are just as harsh as the sheets and I won’t be buying them again even though I need another two, they have been washed otherwise they would have gone back to marks and Spencer, and they are not soft enough to sleep on I have to put an old one on top which is not what I wanted, I really am so very disappointed.
