I buy these for ‘whoops’ moments rather than for use as period knickers and they do the job perfectly. I bought them in a size 16 for comfort (I am between sizes 14 and 16) but I prefer them a bit loose rather than too tight. They are well made and wash well. My only observation are that the darker grey knickers are more a mid-denim colour which I am not a fan of and also it would be good to have more colours available. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Different to the cotton period briefs I’ve had before which were excellent thin cotton and more or less invisible under clothes. These however are heavy ribbed material and remind me of the school knickers I had to wear in the sixties. The size was accurate but the elastic left red marks on my legs and around my waist. They do the job hence 2 stars but in my opinion they are drab, the fabric is too thick and the colours unimaginative. Please bring back the flesh coloured cotton mix ones sold in a 3 pack.
