Good weight socks, very soft to the touch inside and out, bought to go with some outdoor shoes, would make and excellent Christmas gift.

Looks great feel good have not worn yet as they are a Christmas present

They are warm and comfy. But despite me keeping my toenails well clipped all four pairs had worn through at spots in the toes in less than two months. I returned one set of two but M&S wouldn't accept the other set since I couldn't find that receipt. I have had to darn them to make them usable. I would not recommend these expensive socks

This is third purchase of these socks. They last a reasonable time and are very comfortable but could wear better under the ball of the foot.

When I first bought these I did not realise how thick and cushioned they were - I just thought of them as slightly thicker than usual socks for everyday as a replacement for some thinner worksocks from another shop that had worn out. However they are not like that at all - they are wonderfully thick and cushioned and have instead become our favourite socks for hiking. This is our second order of them as we need more hillwalking socks. The socks are really good, wash well and are great to wear on the hill. They are also fantastic value compared to socks marketed as hill walking socks.
