Invariably I'm a size 12 in anything for my top half in M&S, but I found the size 12 blazer to be a little too tight across the shoulders at the back. The size 14 was a better fit across the shoulders although a little bigger than I'd have liked from the waist down. I really like the length of the blazer (I'm 5ft10) and the fabric and colour. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

I have bought my clothes from M & S since 1950. Have purchased many of your blazers over the years.. I am afraid I returned the blazer yesterday. I ordered & paid for it last week whilst travelling through Southampton.. The front of the blazer is loose/big but the back shoulders are to tight.. I had great difficulty putting it on.. I am not keen on the material either.

Loved the length of this jacket, saw it on Instagram and it looked gorgeous on the very tall slim women who showed it off. In reality i'm a size 14 with a D cup bust and i found this jacket very tight at the top of the arm (i'm not a body builder by any stretch of the imagination) and slightly tight across the bust but fitted beautifully around the waist and bottom. Real Shame.

Great colour jacket.I really hoped the other reviewers saying that the style was baggy were wrong .. Sadly not , could have been really nice but the fit let it down . Way too big around the middle , looked shapeless. returned.

Nice blazer but huge

Ordered this using the website measurement guide, so chose a size 12, although I had a hunch it would be too big. the size guide is not accurate & items always come up too big on me. I know it is a looser style but honestly it was much too big & I looked as if I had borrowed my father's coat. The straight cut was not flattering on me so I didn't bother trying the smaller size.

Sadly not the blazer for me

I awaited the arrival of this blazer with excitement and was sorely disappointed when it arrived. Having read the other reviews on it I ordered a size smaller that I normally would. However I hadn't anticipated that it would be so long as it was. It was more like a coat than a blazer which was extremely annoying as I liked everything else about it and it was perfect other than the length. If I'd been about 6 foot in height then it was have been ok but sadly I'm 5 foot 6 and it just looked oversized on me. Yet another item that has to be returned to M & S! Please alter the description to describe it as a 'long' jacket so buyers have all the facts and are not mislead.

I thought that I had found the perfect blazer, colour wise and material wise it was perfect but the fit was awful. Very big and baggy on the shoulders and just not a good shape plus it arrived very creased. I had to return it.

I would recommend to a friend who was quite a bit taller than me at 5ft 3. Too long and too long in the sleeve

Didn't hang very well. Just like the similar Autograph jacket I tried was very long and masculine looking with no shape. Man's jacket style.

Thank you M&S for this blazer and thank you for sizing up to 24. I love, love this blazer which I ordered in black. It is so difficult to get good tailored blazers above a size 20/22 that aren't poor quality or badly cut or are of a no fashion workwear style. Its especially difficult to get blazers of this cut. I will wear this so much with jeans, skinny black trousers, over dresses its got so many possibilities with the more modern masculine cut. The blazer is a straight cut more masculine/boyfriend style of blazer. As such its cut a little looser and wider across the shoulders and bust than you may be used to. If you want a more nipped in waist and bust its probably not for you but Its not overly baggy. Im a 22,24 with smaller shoulders and bust and a bigger tummy and it fits me brilliantly. Im about 5'4 and I was worried it was going to be too long but its good, maybe an inch or half an inch longer than ideal but still looks great. The fabric is high quality and it has a lovely feel. The cut is good and it sits very well on your body. I honestly couldn't love this blazer more, to the extent that Im tempted to buy another just to have when this one wears out. Im also looking at a couple of others but frustratingly the 24's go very quickly and it would be great to have more stock available.

Nice jacket, and good longer length but almost too long and the body was too big overall. Swamped me, which is more to do with the cut than the size.

The fit was awful too tight on upper arms and round chest but much too big and baggy around waist I'm a standard size 16 or sometimes 14 so it should not have been tight anywhere The material was of average quality, but nothing to justify the price tag

Disappointed in the fit and quality of this blazer. Sleeves were too long. It was too long and shapeless. I just wish M&S could go back to using UK manufacturers to make clothes instead of getting them from Bangaladesh where body shapes are different. Returning this item.

Bought this in black after looking for a classic blazer for a while & was about to bite the bullet & buy one twice the price. Glad I didn’t as this one looks expensive & is well tailored. It is in a longer length so may not suit everyone & oversized slightly (I’m a 10, ordered a 10 where I’d normally order a 12 for a little extra room & is perfect) I am considering ordering it in camel as I love it so much. Star knocked off as it arrived crushed & I had to spend a considerable amount of time steaming the creases out...

I would never write a review but this blazer deserves it. The fabric feels expensive and the fit is fantastic on my shape and it’s seem well tailored (structured). It does appear slightly a-line, but I love that oversized blazer look. Well worth the money. I’m tempted to buy in camel as well!!

It runs a bit big but I like that. I’m 5’ 5” and it sat bellow my bottom. I liked it but I returned it because the sleeves and the back were wrinkled and crushed. This is the second time I’ve had to return something because of the condition of it when it arrived.
