Wool Blend Belted Car Coat

Amazing sale price. Looks even better than the picture. I bought a size 14 and it fits perfectly, just the right length and thickness for autumn, but would be bit too thin for very cold weather. The material is beautiful. Great quality I am very impressed. Well done M&S!!!!

Lovely coat but way too big, i would recommend a size smaller but as it was a sale bargain i just returned

I'd read reviews that this coat was big so I got a size down - it was still massive. I didn't get another size down tho as I was disappointed with the coat in itself. The material felt rough and itchy.

I liked the shade of grey and that it had a belt but it did make the back balloon a bit when you tied the belt so it didn't quite look right and I decided to return it. Good value for money though in the sale, but just couldn't justify it with during these uncertain times

I read the reviews then ordered a size down. It fitted perfect. The green colour is beautiful and current. The coat is not lined and could do with being a couple of inches longer but that said it is really lovely. I was lucky to use 20% off so a good price. I would not have bought it at the original full price.

Liked the style, lighter weight but not lined and with it being wool it is very itchy on the skin.Couldn't tolerate that so it had to go back

This is a really nice coat in lovely fabric. Unfortunately the design didn’t suit me and the raglan sleeves didn’t sit right on my shoulders, giving a hollow bump. Sadly had to return.

Although the texture is good and coat is warm, it is unlined so doesn't have any shape or weight, which is a huge shame as I bought it in sale so good value for money. But because of these issues i returned it. Had no shape despite buying a size 6! The green colour is lovely. Big shame.

I kissed a lot of frogs - well tried lots of coats, anyway and this one won, a steal at the sale price, going to wear it today. I had nothing else which worked over a dress as most of my coats are anorak style, this works with feeling too fussy but better than the really drapey blue coat I also reviewed

I’d been searching high and low before I came across this coat - I purchased the Green which is a great colour as an alternative to Black. Being short the coat is calf length on me which isn’t too much of an issue. I bought my regular size even though moats reviews say that the coat comes up big - which it does, but again I can cope with that. The price point isn’t for everyone; use your discount vouchers wisely and you won’t be disappointed. In general I love the coat, the style, the fit is...okay - the shoulders look a little big and there’s a slight bagginess in the back. I love that it’s unlined and it’s super warm and quite lightweight. My main bug bear is the crazy amount of pilling. Obviously you have to expect this with a wool fabric, but wearing the coat two or three times a week leads to at least one de-fuzzing session! This could have been a really great coat but for me, the dodgy fit, the loose stitching in a few places and having to de-fuzz quite often lets it down.
