Solid wooden knife block. Lovely rich colour which matches other M&S items in my kitchen. The only reason I’ve not given it 5 stars is that the metal folding bar did not touch the worktop and therefore made it unbalanced and uneven. I rectified this by putting some felt pads underneath to even it out. Probably also would have been more useful with more knife slots.

Brass stand takes up space
Nice quality. The brass stand is a bit strange, it takes up more counter space when it is used as shown. Goes well with tom kerridge butcher block board
