I’m a little disappointed with these shorts. I bought them from M&S this time after having bought them from the school’s branded uniform supplier in the past. They were the same price so I thought it would be alright, M&S usually being good quality - they are practically see through and the drawstring is rubbish too. I will keep them as it’s just primary school PE kit but I won’t be buying them again and could see myself having to replace them before the year is out.

The fabric of these shorts has a lovely silky texture and a nice drape. My son's last school PE shorts were a much stiffer fabric which had a tendency to stick out sideways and didn't suit my petite-framed son, so these were much better.
