Tweed Knee Length Dress

I was a bit unsure from previous reviews. The material is quite thick which makes the dress very bulky.

Bought online and is more red than pink and slightly shorter than expected however it doesn’t detract from the overall look. Well made thicker than I presumed so will get more wear as it’s ideal for autumn. Pleased with this purchase

However, that Hepburn from Givenchy, to Jackie Kennedy look, is a long gone memory for me. I might have been tempted to keep it if I could alter the length, so sadly I returned it. Hope to see it being worn sometime, somewhere as it really was M&S at its former best.

This is a lovely dress, quite fitted and nice, stubby fabric. It would be perfect for work but I’m now retired and unfortunately I felt that I wouldn’t have a suitable occasion to wear it as it’s quite smart. I reluctantly returned it.

Beautifully cut and finished dress. Lovely details in waist and especially the outside and hidden inner buttons. Size is true. I bought size 10 and it fitted perfectly. But...Pink Mix - I think it is more red than pink. Also...the fabric is too thick. It's a summer dress I think (short sleeves) but the fabric is heavy and thick. Terrific fabric for a winter dress, but then I can't imagine wearing in winter because of the short sleeves, and can't see myself wearing it with boots. So sadly, I will have to return it. Would suit a climate that is cool yet sunny eg the USA in the fall. Or working in an air-conditioned office.

This dress is so stylish and smart - great colour too. I bought it in 2 sizes, and can confirm the previous reviews are correct that it comes up small so you need to size up. The dress would be perfect for work, however, not only is it too short, the fabric is terribly heavy with thick polyester lining. It seems heavier than most winter dresses. I can only think it would be suitable is you worked in an office where the air conditioning was blasting out. Sadly, the dress is not for me
