Wanted a 'formal' tailored trouser in this seasons brown shade. These are a lovely sophisticated, warm 'machiato' colour. Not the dreadful dead brown that suits no-one. Little bit wider than I might have expected of the 'straight' in the description. This has been noted by other reviewers in other 'relaxed straight' trouser versions. Good drape to the fabric but a little unyielding for true comfort. However as purchased in the sale I am happy with this practical addition to this seasons wardrobe. Have the green/brown check mesh top also purchased in the sale, to wear with it.

Great fit. Speedy definitely . orinally ordered a petite but it was very short so had to return it for a regular . ,i am [5ft1 ] so on the short side . Bought the matching jacket too Only wish it came in a dark green too !

I was looking for a pair of brown trousers to wear with a Phase Eight pale pink jacket for my granddaughters funeral. The theme was pink and leopard print. Although the trousers are marketed as khaki they are more on the brown spectrum. They fit perfectly, not too long, didn’t crease all day and still looked like new at the end of a very sad day
