The swim wear is good quality and covers nicely without going too far down the thigh

Excellent choice!

They fit well without the viscous drag of many swim shorts. Plus they’re a happy medium between said baggy swim shorts and budgie smugglers.

Replacement for an, almost identical, pair.

Good replacement for an old, almost identical, pair whose elastic around legs had deteriorated.

Swim shorts!

As expected. As husband said ‘Swim shorts for swimming’. Small fit highlighted on reviews so bought two sizes and kept larger size. Would like to buy M&S brand possibly with a bit of colour added so a bit more of a holiday swim short as well as being functional. They are expensive for such a simple pair of swim shorts!

Disappointing quality.

No, I don't recommend this
I brought two pairs of these swimming trunks for my husband, to replace ones that he has had for years. They are exactly the same brand but unfortunately not nearly as good quality as they were before. Sadly I think that this is the case with most things, much more expensive but poorer quality. I have kept them as that's all that is on offer but I don't expect them to last as long as the previous ones.

thinner trunks

not a lot of choice for mens swimming trunks if you don't want boxers. These are ok but thinner material than ones bought from a sports shop. Bought these because of no other choice

Nice quality, not too thin. Great fit. Nice and snug around the legs. I ordered my usual waist size and they fit perfectly. I have yet to wear them in the water.

A great fit and very comfortable. As they are figure hugging there's no air trapped when you submerge which can be an issue with some shorts.

Go big or go... and realise you need one size up
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Very comfortable - once I went an additional size up. If you wear a 32in trouser, go 34in; if 34in trouser, go 36in... etc.
