Straight Fit Japanese Rigid Selvedge Jeans

Great jeans great price but get a larger size as these are not a regular fit

I was looking to find a pair of selvedge denim jeans without stretch at an affordable price. M&S kept bringing out new jeans and I spotted these. First thoughts, nice quality selvedge denim, stiff at first but that is how I remember denim being, you have to work with it and break it in over time. Good finish with stud fly and waist fitting. Only just got these and it will be a while before they are washed (how you should work with this denim so it takes on your style and pattern). So not sure how they will be over time but initial thoughts, really great pair of jeans.

I was advised about these by a friend - I’m an avid wearer of Salvedge jeans. These are excellent for the price, quality is very good as is the fit - I will buy again !

My husband loves these jeans that I bought for him. You do definitely need to order a size up. The indigo is so dark that they almost look black but he decided that he still liked them. The quality of the fabric is excellent.

Excellent jeans detailing you'd expect from quality selvage jeans would recommend and buy again. These are rigid so don't expect any stretch. Fit true to size for me at 34.

Perfect colour, nice fit selvedge at this price 😎 just wow. Straight leg perfect. Fit is spot on. What is wrong with them? Not washed yet resisting the urge to do so, please don’t wash out the colour.

Great quality jeans - they are rigid and take some breaking in but this is perfectly normal took me back to my first pair of Levi’s when i was a kid and had to wear them in the bath to break in - The Levis were heavier and even more rigid so it was not a shock - suggest you also consider going up a size

My partner bought a second pair after giving the first a trial run! These jeans are made with beautiful, well cut denim, which is 100% cotton. They are likely to wear well and last a lot longer because of the quality of the fabric. I would have expected to pay a lot more for these. In addition they have a the beautiful design details that you’d expect from a garment made with Japanese selvedge denim.

Excellent fit and dark indigo denim. Plain with no added 'crease' marks. Will buy again if come back into stock in black

I really like the Selvidge jeans offer from M&S. I purchased another pair of jeans in this M&S selvidge range and they fitted perfectly. So I brought these rigid selvidge jeans in the same size and they didn't fit. So you will need to order one size up about your normal size. Don't let this put you off though!! I made the return, which worked really well and purchased the next size up. They are really great jeans. The attention to detail is excellent. For the price these jeans are great value. I would love to see these jeans in more colours. I can't recommend this Selvidge range enough.
