Stormwear™ Faux-Fur Hooded Parka Coat

I'm very pleased with this coat, it's a good fit though I did buy a smaller size than usual after reading the reviews. The hood is really enormous too, but has a strap to adjust it. It is just about wearable on the tightest position. I was pleased to find that the sleeves are the right length, the last coat that I bought from M&S had sleeves that were much too long. It's also good to have coat that is longer than the average parka as a short coat or jacket isn't much use in the rain. I don't yet know whether it will keep me dry as it is says it gives protection from "light rain showers". Personally I'd have liked a fabric with cotton in it as I tend to get very hot in coats that use synthetics for outer fabric, padding and lining.

Very warm and comfortable. Will be snuggling up in my new coat when winter comes around, as I know it’ll keep me warm.

Bought the beige. Thanks SBE14 on the heads up regarding the sizing, that was very helpful. I bought a size 6 and am a size 10 normally. It fitted perfectly. Colour does look slightly darker but its nice. Only problem is the hood seems to fall over/into my eyes, but its a super warm coat which ticks a lot of boxes for me, so a keeper. I like how the sleeves are "sealed" as well.

I bought this in midnight Navy, looks very smart and is Beautiful coat, lovely material. I'm a size 14, size 14 fit me perfect it is roomy but you have 2 cords to pull inside the back of the coat to give you shape in the middle i did try a size 12 but felt to snug. I'm 5ft 3 and it is knee length on me.

On line this coat looks beige to me and my family - but when it arrived it was more like a very dark caramel/rust colour. I have bought the same size coats and jackets from M&S for years (I currently have 4 in my wardrobe all the same size)and ordered this in my size. It is absolutely huge - at least two sizes too big. So sadly it is going back. My nearest clothing store is n hour's drive way hence the online purchase and now about a week to wait for the refund.
