We bought my hubby a pair of these trousers together with a matching jacket about 3 years ago so that we had a nice suit for weddings and funerals. Where the weather had been so warm recently he started to wear the trousers a lot because they were lighter and cooler in the hotter weather than the cargo pants he normally wears. We then bought a second pair to keep for best with jacket that he rarely wore. They are very comfortable, wash very well and look great with the shirts that he always wears.

Lovely, smart pair of trousers, and a great price. So glad you can still buy quality at reasonable cost. My own side issue is that I’m trying to pair trousers with a navy blue suit I bought 4 years ago which was then discontinued. As I’ve put on weight and my waist has expanded I find a whole 2 piece suit (and 2 others) are now unwearable. I wish M&S would continue issuing trousers for suits they’ve discontinued for a year or two thereafter.

Lovely material great trousers but the 38 inch waist was actually 34 inches so had to return was advised never to take notice of sizing on trousers but always try at least 3 different sizes. Come on M and S let’s get it right.
