Shirred Shoulder Waisted Midi Dress

Loved the style of this dress. Couldn't resist not buying it as it was half price in the sale as I already had the black version. Keep this style going.

Bought this in the summer sale for my daughter. It’s true to size and really on trend for a nineteen year old to look nice for a summer evening event. The colours are very subtle therefore dress can be matched with different sandals/shoes and accessories. Daughter loves it.

Cool pretty dress. Can be worn for any occasion. Material light and practical.

At 5’2” this dress is a lovely length, and the muted shades are nice. The sleeves are just the right length to hide the bat wings. As I currently need to lose weight the shirted waist does not look as lovely on me as it should, but with a bit of weight off it will be perfect.

Very happy with this style - would have loved a blue one or a grey/white one! (As well as the two I already have.)

I ordered the dress on line but like many of the M&S dresses it has a small button at the back that is very difficult to fasten,I sent it back also the material is very thin,if they must put buttons at the back they should put proper button holes instead of narrow elastic to fasten the button

I needed to find a smart but casual dress to wear in the Easter holidays to an appointment. I looked and instantly clicked buy. I wasn't disappointed, it's a wonderful dress for a sunny day, I will definitely be interested in others like this style as it fitted so nicely, and didn't cling ect.i managed to damage the button fastening at the back neck line but it just needs a needle and some cotton and it will be like new once again. Some people might return an item for such a weak faster, but I make dresses etc at home and it's a two second job.. I love the dress and so does my partner and daughter.

Tried 12 and 14 neither looked good too baggy. Bad fitting

Returning this dress because colour didn't suit me.

Ordered this dress after reading the glowing reviews. The fabric was very nice tho the print is a little wish washy. The fit was awful, it made me look very broad-shouldered and could have done with at least a couple more inches in length - I am 5’ 5” size 16. I do feel that size is part of the problem, as a lot of M & S garments appear to be designed for an average size 8. The same style does not convert to looking good on a bigger size. Also if I had ordered a a larger size the shoulders would have been too wide. I also felt that the waist was too high which isnt flattering in the most gorgeous dress. Returned, sadly I seem to be returning more and more lately due to sizing issues.

Would have liked a bit more material in the skirt. Also could have been slightly longer. I am 5’2” and comes just below my knees. Having said that a nice every day dress and value for money.

This dress fit really well, however, the fabric was cheap looking and feeling.

This is a lovely flattering dress! It hangs well and the material has a great feel to it.I don't find it to be sheer at all as one customer said.I am looking forward to wearing this when the weather is warmer!

I particularly like the design of the waist, which fits me beautifully. The material is slightly thin, which has meant I had to spend more money buying a petticoat to go under it. However, I love the dress.
