Bought 2 for Christmas presents as I was so pleased with the one that I bought for myself. You can scoop out potatoes or pasta from a boiling saucepan without having to carry it to the sink to drain into a normal colander. As I am getting older and reluctant to carry boiling pans of water this is a godsend.

Wow We all wish we had bought this sooner. It has been so useful at home over the Christmas period and my granddaughter was so impressed she has asked for one to take to uni. She says it is far less faff than finding and using the colander while living in halls!
