Satin V-Neck Long Sleeve Popover Blouse

Bought this blouse a week ago but did not like the material it clung to my body in all the wrong places that you don’t want it to and too much electricity in the material!

Really happy with this blouse. Looks and feels good on. Bought one size smaller than usual size after reading other reviews.

Makes you feel sophisticated ! Timeless blouse. I always where a larger size. Love how it hangs.

I have been a size 10 for 20 years. However I bought this in a size 8 after reading reviews that stated it was a large cut. I also purchased this in the grey pattern but this time in a size 6 which is ridiculous I could never be classed as a size 6. It arrived and was exactly the same size as the size 8. Such a shame as the fabric is very nice. I have now chopped off 4 inches from each seam and sewed them back up to fit properly . I’ve also moved the buttons on the cuffs as they were hanging over my knuckles. These tops would have fitted a size 18 and perhaps they are all size 18 but with different sizes sewn in.

I bought this top in the sale what a bargain... great soft material, good fit but did go one size down and lovely dark navy colour.

Overall I am pleased with the purchase. I bought a size 10 instead of my usual size12. This fitted me well. However, I found the sleeves too long and a little too full.

I just received this shirt today and I thought it would be nice but it is really lovely! It's not the highest quality of materials but it is soft to the touch and nice and soft and warm to wear as satin usually is. I have bought five shirts/shell tops in the last 3 or 4 months and two from elsewhere but the styling and cut of this one overall and especially the length and shirt-shape hem means it is easily worn over trousers as well as tucked-in, making it more versatile. I don't very often have complaints or reasons to shout high praises but this shirt is a great success. Well done M&S! I would dearly love it in other colours, please. First and foremost a good strong jet black, and then maybe a couple of greens like bottle/garden/forest and a dark khaki/dark olive, then maybe a rich true burgundy or plum. Conversely, a strong ochre colour would be nice, similar to the very long collarless shirt of last year, so not lemon yellow but not too nutmeggy, either!

Comfortable to wear, nice long length at back and nice navy colour. I am between sizes but was fine with the smaller size. Good long length to the sleeves. The neck sits a little odd but I think that may resolve when washed and ironed.
