The size and fit is perfect, and true to the measurement and sizing guide. However after wearing once I found the back pocket was stitched closed , but no sight of the usual thin white thread used to stich pockets closed on new suit jackets. Not wanting to damage the trousers I took them to my local M & S store and after showing a member of customer service they were able to part the closed pocket enough to show THIN BLACK THREAD which broke easily to open the pocket. The color of tge thread may be a one off situation as i haven’t see this mentioned in other reviews but feel omething that M & S. should address hence only 4 🌟 's

Fit and fabric as expected but it is a mistake to omit a waistband button. The metal clip is not sufficient on its own during normal activity to maintain closure.
