I have no idea whether my shirt had been a return, worn, or unfolded and re-folded or M&S don’t see the need for protective covers for their clothing anymore. A shirt used to always come in a bag, if reducing plastic is the issue then use paper with a light film to show colour. The clips were all off the shirt and it was exceptionally badly creased. If I had been able to I’d have returned it and gone elsewhere but didn’t have time. I didn’t bother with Customer Service because they don’t do what they say they will do. Definitely not the shop it used to be.

shirt was too big , so couldn't use for the purpose (graduation ceremony). Buying shirts especially shirts that are sold according to collarsize and 'packaged' is tough. So basically waste of money.

Bought for two male wedding guests who are wearing three piece suits. These shirts were bought, specifically for the cuffs so cuff links could be worn with matching tie and handkerchief. Not worn yet but appears to be good quality.

I ordered this shirt for my son for a wedding. Nothing easier you would think than ordering a 'white' shirt. The colour when it arrived was as though it had been put into a dark was several times and left to dry, certainly not white.

I would say that I always trusted M&S but these shirts showed that you pay for what you get. I had to wash them pre wearing as they were for a wedding and I needed two. They were clean but I wanted to iron out any creases. The quality was poor and had I not washed them I would have probably returned them. They certainly will be ok for 1 event, but like Primari , you should plan on keeping them for too long.
