Regular Fit Luxury Single Pleat Corduroy Chinos

Had great difficulty in getting the buttons on the waist band undone, broke a finger nail on the first one. In fact I had to take scissors and a scalpel to the buttonholes before I could undo the both of the buttons. The visible external button was the worst. I purchased several pairs in differerent colours and all were the same in this respect. A hook and bar fastening would be much better as well as not showing a large unsightly button. Having said that the fit is great and the looks and material are also good.

Well made cords. Husband pleased with them. Hope they wash ok. Previous ones shrunk when washed.

Really nice quality and look. Had to size the waist up to get the fit, as they run slightly slim on athletic legs. Will get waist tailored in.

These trousers are okay for the price but compare poorly with the equivalent product of a few years vintage. I bought 2 pairs of these to replace Marks and Spencer cords bought about twenty years ago - they needed replaced because I tore one pair on a nail and I got oil on the other pair. That apart, they were still in excellent condition but I doubt if these new cords will last anything like that amount of time. One other beef - why can't Marks and Spencer supply and properly fit a decent zip - surely it can't be that hard but this isn't by any means the first instance of this particular gripe.

These cord trousers are great. Good comfortable cut and good quality. The chestnut colour is very nice, not too dark. My husband loves them!

The trousers are a good fit and reasonably smart. They are quite versatile.

Nicely styled and fairly good fit. However, these are far from the quality of the M&S corduroy trousers purchased previously, lacking the attention to detail and finishing touches one expects from M&S. I doubt that these will have the durability of previous purchases.

Bought two but returned one as after 2 wear and wash the fit was not as good as previous purchases of this type/ size.
