Back in black; amazing jeans

I’ve bought multiple versions of the Selvedge line, and despite the questionable Slim designation, and paper thin pockets I love them. Comfortable and hard wearing for my hobbit physique. I missed the original black version, so when I saw these I had to get a pair.

Jeans belt loops.

Great jeans 2nd pair. Stretch material is excellent. However, can’t get the belt through leather loop as it’s too narrow 🤦♂️ looks to be a money saving decision as it goes with the seam not the width of the belt loops.

Good quality jeans, very good value for selvedge, but what is going on with the brand tag on the back? As others have noted you can’t get a belt through the tab and have to go over it which can be uncomfortable. I’ve got the same jeans in a different colour where the belt tab is fine so don’t understand the inconsistency with the black version

The jeans are excellent, the material is superb and the cut is very good, slightly on the large side for me.

Sort out the pockets material

No, I don't recommend this
There’s a lot to like about these jeans. The problem though is the wafer-thin material used in the front pockets. Both have torn after a few months of purchasing and cannot be used. The material used is much too thin.

Good quality jeans but more 'skinny' than 'slim'.

Good quality jeans but the fit is more 'skinny' than 'slim'; certainly the legs are narrower than any other slim fit jeans I have.

I was looking for good fitting selvedge jeans and came across these on the M and S site. I hadn't seen them in-store. They are more expensive than your nomal fare in M and S but far cheaper than TH, Boss etc. I was pleasantly surprised when I got them; great quality, great fit, nice amount of stretch and good depth of dark colour. The only issue is that, as mentioned by other reviewers, the leather brand patch on the rear waistband is stitched too closely to take a standard jeans belt.

This is my second pair of Selvedge Jeans, I have purchased from M & S, that's how impressed I am. Compared to their other Jeans, they are expensive, but they are excellent quality, the fabric is strong, just as good as my Hugo Boss jeans, which are even more expensive. I really like the dark blue colour too. They fit really well, and as they come in a 29inch leg, I don't have to pay to have them taken up, which I do with other brands. I can recommend these jeans.

Quality fabric and good cut. It took a few attempts to get correct length as unturned hem is a nice feature and shows more detail so had 31 leg rather than usual 29 . Look expensive and keeping shape well .
