Caused me to breakout

No, I don't recommend this
I used and loved the old formula but the new formula made me break out. Having cross checked the two ingredients lists I believe this is due to the addition of tocopherol and/or glycine soja oil. Be warned if you are prone to breakouts from oil in skincare products. Why did you change a great product M&S?

Love this cleanser I use it to double cleanse along with the balm in the same range. Very good value for money & does what other more expensive cleansers do.

Just the things as a stocking filler for our granddaughter who is going through an adolescent spotty phaze.

Gentle face wash that I use in the morning. Neutral smell and doesn't sting eyes. Skin feels fresh but not dry. Would highly recommend!

Double the price? Worth it?

No, I don't recommend this
I used the previous Pure face wash for a long time until it was discontinued; I understand this is its replacement, at double the price and a less attractive package, not that the latter is of utmost importance. The doubling of the price is important and I cannot see where that is justified. The new version is acceptable in itself apart from the price hike. I have read that M &S justify it because it supposedly has better ingredients; not sure about that, certainly not noticeable difference for me.

Leaves face feeling clean but a very thin liquid product. I expected it to be more gel like

Nice product, shame about the doubling of price!

Great product but really disappointed at the doubling of price after the re-brand. I've read the response to one of the other reviews outlining the reasons why (better product & a new supplier) but a 50% hike still feels too much. I will however continue to buy this but wanted to share my thoughts.

First time of buying this product, and I chose it as I had previously bought a Pure moisturiser in the sale last year and was very impressed with it. This cleanser is great too - it has an absolutely divine smell, and leaves skin cleansed and glowing and soft afterwards. Very pleased with it and it is marvellous good value. Can't wait to try the other Pure items.
