On receipt, checked size on me, fitted, removed tags. Wore for the evening, felt really uncomfortable. It hangs too low from shoulders as the seam is in wrong place so feels like it's pulling down all the time. And the sleeves are cut too high so don't reach cuffs. A really disappointing waste of money, that can't be returned, not the usual quality for M&S.

Lovely robe
I love this robe, it’s a towel material as described with some weight to it, I wear this the minute I get home! I bought the navy colour and would recommend washing it as I had a film of fluff everywhere.

This is a lovely thick towelling robe. It's very warm & heavy but cosy for cold times. I'm hoping it lasts as long as my previous robe (bought elsewhere), I had that for nearly 20 years. I wasn't going to pay so much but all the other reviews for cheaper ones referred to shedding. Luckily I got vouchers for Christmas so used those towards the cost. So far this one hasn't shed fibres at all & seems good quality. It's nice & absorbent after a bath & the hood is a great addition. I'm a size 10 & bought small & it's plenty big enough.

I bought this dressing gown as my old one was getting thinner and not so warm after getting out the shower as I use them as a towel to dry me off. Also I got it in the sale which was a really good price. Lovely and warm and very good quality

Exactly what I wanted from a dressing gown. Is thick and heavy, but I like that, pure cotton towelling. Fantastic hood. The XL fits which is a miracle. It would be great if it was longer, but then it probably would be too heavy

It is well made and i like the navy colour. After wearing it a couple of times I am slightly regretting keeping it. It is very very heavy, probably the heaviest garment i have ever worn but there is still not much cross over at the front. The sleeves are elbow length on me, i would imagine they will get shorter still after it is washed. That is my other concern, i imagine i will need to take it to the launderette or risk the bearings in my washing machine. So looks good and excellent quality but still some buts....

Well made, washed well, excellent quality, good price point compared to similar robes. I am 5 feet 2 inches and a size 10. I got the Medium and it was not too long and the sleeves fitted. I have honestly never had a robe previously whereby I did not have to roll the sleeves up to see my hands. I think will be fine on taller people too. Love it.

I read the reviews that commented on the weight and thought I’d chance it. I do prefer a toweling robe so for me weight meant quality and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m 5’2’’ and the sleeve length is perfect- I had to roll the sleeves for my previous robe. Love it!
