Trousers are such a good fit not all gathered. Love the non see through double cotton fabric and the colour goes with anything. I bought the shirt to match although usual 14 was huge and exchanged for 12

Unfortunately after 1 wear these trousers were bobbled, both between the thighs and where my bag sat on my hip. Really disappointed as these were bought for my travel and being M&S I assumed quality.

Really like these trousers. Whenever I’ve tried similar on previously they make me look an ‘odd’ shape around my stomach (which being middle-aged is not flat…). Nice fit around the waist and good length to wear with sandals. Not too much material to bunch around the waist so doesn’t accentuate stomach. I’m 5’2 and ordered a size 10 with short leg. Size 10 is true to size

Good length for wearing with flat sandals. (I'm 5.6"). Don't seem to crease so excellent for packing. The white is just a tad see through, but not enough to be a deal breaker.

I've bought several pairs of similar trousers from M&S in recent years and the fit has usually been quite generous. I ordered these in my usual size 12P. While they fitted and the length was good, there wasn't much fabric across the tummy area so unless you have a really flat stomach, it's not a flattering look. The cotton is also very thin and see through. I suppose if they're only beach wear, that may be okay.
