Really disappointed I have the crease front barrel leg jeans which are my go to jeans. Assumed these would be the same but they have a weird crease just below the pockets which is very unflattering. Pity because the colour is lovely - sadly I returned them but really wanted them to work like my jeans.

Really nice material, colour and style but have had to return due to odd sizing. The 8 were far too snug and the 10 far too big. Unfortunately M&S sizing has been a bit off lately. Disappointing.

I had been looking for a pair of light khaki green trousers/jeans for a while but couldn’t find any that matched the vision I had in my head of what I wanted (we all know that feeling!). I thought I’d give these a go even though I haven’t found barrel-fit bottoms suit me in the past. I tried these on in-store and was surprised I really liked them, the length and the fit is really nice. The barrel is much more subtle than a lot of the barrel shapes out there so I find it much more wearable and the colour is perfect (I got “sable” which is definitely a pale khaki, not the brown-y shade it looks like online). I bought a regular and found it too short (way above the ankle and halfway up my calf when I sat down I’m 5’9”) so exchanged for the long and it sits just at the top of my foot. The fabric is a medium-weight twill/denim so great for that in-between weather. They wash & wear well. I find them easy to style with boots, trainers and flat shoes/sandals.
