I've had similar bags to this from m&s in the past and they last years. It's really sturdy and has a number of seperate compartments including for a laptop so is great for work.

I bought this for my husband to carry bits about, mainly on a day out. It’s well made and he is pleased with it. He likes the adjustable fastening and says the size is just right for his needs.

Smart, understated design. Looks like it will last. Clips rattle, but other than that, it's a good bag.

It's a decent messenger bag. Negative points. It's a bit small. You can fit your laptop and a bottle of water in there, along with some other small essentials (e.g., wallet, keys, glasses). Might be able to squeeze a snack or two in as well but not much more. In particular, the bag doesn't have much depth. Once you put a laptop in there, you will struggle to fit in anything else with a depth more than 10cm. There are two external compartments on either side of the bag, and two inside. If this is enough for you then great, but for me, I'm barely making it work. Other than the size, the strap is disappointing as there is no soft padded region where it rests on your shoulder. While this is not the end of the world, it seems like a strange oversight as most strapped bags have them for comfort and to prevent chafing. Also, whatever length you set the strap to be, it slowly slides towards the maximum, so I find myself adjusting it on a daily basis. The positive points. It feels well-constructed. The buckles closing the flap are metal and there is a zip inside even once you open the flap (although it can be difficult to zip-up if you overfill the bag, which is easily done given it's small size...). It seems like the bag will last a long time.

I bought this bag for a Christmas present to give to a family member, and they loved it. It is perfect for everyday use especially to carry work related items such as a laptop, accessories, and paperwork. The bag looks stylish and it is good quality too. I would definitely recommend.

Good quality. Comfortable for the daily use when going to work
