Nice thin merino wool that fits well and very comfortable as a base layer which works very well under other clothes.

Merinotec vest

This appeared to be lovely when unpacked. It felt soft and fitted well. However, it made my husband's skin itch. I have washed it gently and rinsed in softener, but there is no improvement. Disappointing as this was an expensive purchase.

No, I don't recommend this
Very very small sizes and wafer thin material didn’t like them at all and definitely not worth the money in my view

Very pleased with purchase of merinotec&trade Maximum Warm Thermal vest. Lightweight but does the job so purchased a second one as really impressed with the results. Happy to recommend.

Not for me

Could not recommend. I usually buy the excellent M&S 'Heatgen' range, but tried this new thermal top. More expensive and in my view nowhere near as good. Thrown away after one wear!

Just OK

Comfortable to wear. You can tell a difference when worn under a shirt/jumper. Slightly disappointed that they are not a little warmer.

Good quality but quite thin matetial.

Very good quality - but it is remarkably thin material for a thermal vest. It is elasticated so it hugs the body well. It is quite warm but I have not tested it in really cold weather yet. I found the slightly cheaper M&S thermal vests are quite abit thicker and were very good in the cold weather last season. Thought I'd give this dearer 'Autograph' option a try this time around.

Perfect Lightweight, warm, easy to care for. Just wish it came in a few more colours - navy? Natural?
