Nice baggy/loose fit which is on trend at the moment. Fits about the same maybe slightly looser than my carhartt single knee pants. Went for 31 inch length which was bang on for me at 6"2 for a slightly bunched at the ankle baggy look.

These jeans were a Christmas present for my husband - six feet five inches and finds getting jeans to fit an absolute problem. The quality of the denim is excellent; it feels strong and durable but soft at the same time. The fit is generous and he can sit comfortably without the waistband cutting into him. The length is generous - I may shorten the overall length slightly as it catches the heel of his shoe, but absolutely the best length for his height. The best compliment from my husband - he tried them on … and kept them on instead of returning to the jeans he pulled on first thing Christmas morning, declaring them the best fit he’d had in years!

The difference between the 40 inch waste loose fit jeans and the 38 inch jeans sent is greater than the 2 inches you'd expect. There is a difference of 4 inches so I have returned the jeans.

I've bout the same size on all my jeans but these ones came with the same size on the label but they're easily 2 sizes smaller. Sending them back

I purchased the jeans for my Grandson, they fir perfectly, and are a nice colour and quality denim. I wish they did this style and quality for women instead of adding elastane. I would purchase rigid jeans for myself but not the ones with elastane.
