Beautiful dress but a strange fit. I tried three different dresses, dropping a size each time but still fit strange across the bust. May be that I’ve never worn a one shoulder dress so I struggled with this so had to return. The skirt part of the dress fitted beautifully.

Loved it in the photo, but it arrived creased and didn’t look as expected. Wanted long length as im 5:7 with long legs but didn’t seem available. Initially 14 too big & too short. 10 in long length, too small but right length. Settled on 12 regular length and will let the hem down. Just hope it doesn’t crease terribly when i eventually get to wear it.

M&S have nailed it with this dress- I got the linen/ black version and it looks more luxe than the price point and than in the M&S advert. I am 5’7 and a great length in my flats. It can be worn to the beach or dressed up in an evening- a great piece if travelling where luggage space is precious.

I liked the look of this on the model and taking account of reviews I ordered in my size and one size up in petite as I'm not very tall. Length was fine, but the shape! VERY unflattering on me, probably fine on someone willowy. Seams in all the wrong places- a kind of asymmetric dropped waist effect - and it made me look a complete frump. I like the fabric and the print but nothing else was right for me, sadly.

Perfect summer dress. Great for sightseeing or a casual evening meal. Easy to dress up or down with a change of shoes & bag. Lightweight linen which doesn’t crease too much. Size 8 long was a perfect fit for me, just skimming my ankle - I’m 5’9’’. The black wasn’t available in a tall but I’ve ordered the regular length hoping it will still be mid calf.

Sceptical as I read the other reviews about the arm hole. I’m 5’7 and the long sits just on my ankle. I find it comfy and not restrictive. My only grip is that if you have a large chest it squashes them a bit, but the bigger size was way too big. Great material and perfect for summer.

Lovely summer holiday dress. Great print and regular length perfect for me 5’ 6”. Slightly too big around the bust area on my usual size but great on waist and hips and can be altered easily. Keeper!

Would be 5 stars as this is stunning and flattering dress, however, it was so tight under the arm on the ‘strap’ side I had to go up a size. The dress is now slightly big but I’ve been told I can get away with it….and I do love it, but M&S what are you playing at this season as nothing seems right

Adore this dress, it is stylish and versatile and could be worn post beach with flip flops or with wedges for a more dressed up look. The linen mix fabric is a good quality and whilst I haven’t yet washed it I think it will iron really well. I bought it when I had 20% off with sparks so I think it was a really good price.
