I’m not sure what planet my fellow reviewers are on, but these are both small and uncomfortable. I’m normally a bog standard size six but felt like an ugly sister trying to jam my foot into these. The leather is also incredibly hard and unyielding which didn’t help. When I did get them on although very tight overall I could feel my heel slipping as I tried to walk. Generally do not recommend.

I am never normally able to buy my shoes in M&S as I am a ladies size 8.5 (42.5) and sometimes a 9 or a 43. However I thought I would give these a try in the size 8 (42) and for once they actually fitted me! They have quite a wide toe-box which helps. But they aren't slipping up and down at the back which is a problem that I often get if I do find shoes that are long enough, and they are often too wide. I love these loafers. Please, please M&S bring them out in some different colours. I would love brown, burgundy and a neutral ecru colour especially.
