I need a waterproof boot for dog walking in a residential area. Normal terrain. These are not waterproof.( I returned a pair of walking boots to a rival brand and got a full refund after 8 months of use.) I replaced them with Goodmove flat lace up walking boots Product code: T025950 Great wee boot and comfy, fit is good, sole is dry, however they are NOT waterproof on the top of your foot. Tell you what is waterproof-goodmove coat-its great.

My second pair. I still were my old ones. When I saw they were in stock I had to get another. Best walking boots I’ve purchased.

I only bought these because they were described as waterproof. They are not. There are plenty of better boots out there.

Really comfortable and supportive walking boots. Not for hardcore walkers but normal folk who hike 3 or 4 miles of an afternoon.

Seems good value, but came up a bit small, and too ‘clunky for my taste so I returned them.

I spend all day outside in boots and walk on average 6 miles a day. I have arthritis in one ankle and in 3 toes on my other foot along with arch problems. I’ve spent double the amount on boots in the past but these fit beautifully, don’t get too hot, are standing up to different weather. Brilliant

I'm no expert but these are great!

Very light, held up to a couple of days mountain walking, no blisters, completely waterproof. I had a lot of skepticism about getting walking boots from M&S but these are exactly what I was looking for, not very expensive and as good as any other brand as far as I can tell.

I wanted these as a summer walking boot. I sent for size 7 & 8 as I wear thick walking socks and sizes can vary. The 7s were too small with the socks. The 8s fitted but they were rather stiff. Nice sturdy boots just not what I wanted at this time.

Sturdy boots that do the job

The boots are sturdy and great for hiking for most people I would think. They were comfortable on my feet. However for me they were uncomfortable around the ankle and made the ankle sore even though I had thick socks on. Perhaps I need to wear them in a bit more. I paid a substantial part of the cost with my reward vouchers so that helped.

These boots are awesome. I sized up from a 6.6 to a 7 after reading other reviews and they fit so well with walking socks on. I've not had any rubbing and they are so comfortable, with great ankle support. The sole offers good grip and they keep my feet really wamr and dry. So far, I've tested them out on walks over slightly boggy and round terrain, and they have done the job as well as boots three or four times the price would. Really happy with these boots!

Walking boots

For the price these are very good walking boots. I take a 3 in a shoe but bought. 3.5 and they are very comfortable with a pair of hiking socks. Not been out in heavy rain/snow or wet grass so cannot comment on how dry they would stay.

I bought a pair of these boots on 31/10/22. I have been wearing them up to 5 days a week to walk a dog on flat ground. The sole has started to come away from the upper. I took them in to my local store and I have been refused a refund due to wear and tear. I am at a loss to know how I should use these 'walking' boots if not for walking. I have some timberlands which I have had for a number of years and their soles are still attached to the uppers. These boots started to fail in less than 11 weeks. I believe that they are faulty but the manager in the store disagrees.
