Winter essential

I bought a pair last year and pretty much lived in them during the colder months because I loved them some much and really felt the extra warmth. I was so pleased to see they were available again this year. Outstanding quality, they are slightly heavier than normal Ivy jeans. A must for winter

Love the fit of these jeans, was disappointed in the lining as had assumed it would be much more fleece lined, but they are definitely warmer than regular jeans so are still worth the price in my opinion. The fit is absolutely spot on & they are a great colour, very good value.

Good fit and flattering. I’m a 10-12 and 5’8” and bought 10L and 12L to compare, but kept the 10s. Comfortable and warm enough to cycle to work in. Definitely not ‘thermal’, but warm with the soft fleece inside. I’d buy them again.

Lovely jeans, but not really thermal.

Nice jeans and the size is spot on. Great fit and very comfortable when worn. I dropped one star as they arent really 'thermal' as such and not much different from the regular Ivy jeans warmth wise. However the fabric is nice to the touch and comfortable to wear. Would I buy again? Probably, but more because of the fit and softer fabric than for any warmth qualities.

Very good fit - think they are a bit thicker than the non thermal jeans hence warmer. Very good quality and very comfortable.

Ideal Jeans for Winter

Cosy, comfortable and warm jeans. I prefer slightly skinnier. Short length too short (long legs for '2") so ordered regular length which is perfect for me.

Good product. Warm jeans. Comfortable, flattering fit, slightly big on waist, but a belt will sort that.

Bought these thermal jeans for the winter weather, they arrived at the local M&S on time and they fit perfectly.

Short leg is not the same as petite

They actually feel warmer than normal jeans, so the thermal claim works. However, M&S please understand short legs and petite proportions are two entirely different things. These are short leg. On a petite person with a proportionate rise, you get a low-hanging crotch. I wanted jeans, not harem pants. I'll wear them for staying in and putting the bins out as it's not a publicly presentable look.

Skinny fit jeans that are much warmer than normal jeans so great for cold weather. Not as high waisted as other MandS jeans and I have to wear a belt. Good stretch so comfortable but although I bought regular length they are shorter.

Okay but not as good as last year

No, I don't recommend this
Described as thermal jeans but the material is much thinner than the ones I bought from M&S last year.

NOT Thermal

No, I don't recommend this
I've several pairs of Ivy jeans and when I saw these I bought them as jeans are not warm to wear during winter months. I had high hopes for them but alas was very disappointed, I wore them recently during the cold snap we had, in a temperature of 4c, so not exceptionally cold, to walk my dog and my legs were really cold. When I returned home and took them off my legs were red from the cold, they may be slightly thicker than the usual Ivy due to the fleecy lining and probably slightly warmer but most definitely NOT thermal. Had I not worn them I would have returned them immediately, I have enough jeans to wear, I didn't need the extra expence of paying for a pair that are not as advertised.

Cosy

Love these jeans, high waist and the long leg is great. Shape has fallen out a bit after 3 or 4 wears though, not as fitted anymore, waist and legs have loosened, but overall happy, as they are so warm!

My eyes lit up when I saw thermal jeans. I always wear M and S jeans as they fit me perfectly but sometimes in winter a bit more warmth is needed. These are brilliant, have got a thin but cosy sort of lining and are definitely warmer but no more bulky.
